Parnells Ladies are currently going through the
2011 Championship campaign which this year is being run on a
national basis.
teams from throughout the Uk are competing in one of the closest
championships for several years, our next championship game is on
September 3rd at Birmingham against John Mitchells of
Liverpool.
This is the first year where all UK clubs are competing for the
same prize and has resulted in many more games for clubs than the
traditional county by county format.
We are also competing in a London only championship where the
colour and ahmosphere of local rivalries are on full display
by all clubs involved.
London also runs a league competitions that includes all London
clubs of all grades and offers games every week or two for most
teams, additionally there are other cup competitions, 7 and 9
a-side competitions and national 9 a-side competitions to keep our
teams busy.
Our games are generally played at venues where other games are
being played and where the character that accompanies Gaelic games
everywhere in the world can be enjoyed by visitors and club members
alike.
